    The Vaillant Eco-Tec Pro 24

    Vaillant Eco-Tec Pro 24 is a combination boiler that requires no water storage tanks,

    it works on the incoming mains supply.

    So long as you have decent water pressure and flow rate,

    then the Vaillant Eco-Tec Pro 24 is ideal if you want to convert to a combination boiler. Vaillant

    produces 2 models of combination boilers,

    one is called the Pro and the other is the Plus.

    The difference is the Plus comes with all the pipe tails with a built-in filling loop,

    there is not much difference between the two boilers.

    The Pro also comes with a two warranty as standard and is

    increased to five years is the boiler is installed by a

    Vaillant accredited installer.

    The plus also comes with the standard two-year warranty,

    but is also increased to seven years

    if an accredited installer fits the boiler.

    source out an accredited installer to benefit from the extended warranty.

    ecoTEC pro range of combination boilers features a 24kW and 28kW models,

    making this boiler perfect for homes with a smaller heating and hot water requirement.

    These plus models come in 24Kw and a 31Kw.

    These boilers are all of the same sizes, so if you decide to choose the higher output model,

    you have no worries that the size will change, like some other makers.

    The ecoTEC pro has many welcoming benefits and

    demonstrates innovative heating technology.
    24kw is more suitable for 1-3 bedroom properties with 1 bathroom,

    whereas the 28kW is more appropriate for 2-4 bedroom properties with 1 or 2 bathrooms.

    When considering installing a combination boiler it’s

    important to note that the larger the output (28kW) you select,

    the greater the hot water delivery will be,

    It’s only a small amount but it does make a difference.

    installation of a Vaillant ecoTEC pro boiler typically takes between 1-2 days, however, some time should be

    allocated for systems where radiators and pipework need replacing or upgrading.

    If you want a combination boiler installed on an old style system, then there is a

    very slim chance a leak may happen.

    This is due to the old system being low pressure and the new system, high pressure.

    All in all a good quality boiler, that has been built to last.

    One thing that I must point out is about the warranty, like any warranty,

    the boiler has to be serviced each year to keep the warranty valid.

    When the boiler is serviced, the engineer will need to fill in the benchmark book that

    comes with the boiler, in the service section and sign and date it.

    This is a legal document and needs to be kept safe.

    You must only use a Gas Safe Registered engineer to install and service the boiler.

    If you use someone who is not registered, then you have no warranty at all.

    It’s also against the law for anyone to install or service any gas appliance unless they are

    Gas Safe registered for the appliance they will be working on.
